Volunteer Outreach Coordinator

Position Overview:
The Volunteer Outreach Coordinator will reach out to potential partners, such as local businesses, community organizations, and free hot meal service providers, to invite them to be added to our organization’s map and calendar. This role involves establishing connections and offering opportunities for partners to collaborate with our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Reach Out to Potential Partners: Make calls to local businesses, non-profits, and service providers to inform them about the benefits of joining our map and calendar and the possibility of getting funded or supplied through our connections.
Explain the Program: Provide details about how partners can gain visibility and connect with individuals in need of services through our platform.
Relationship Building: Establish rapport with potential partners and answer any questions they may have about the partnership.
Follow-Up: Schedule follow-up calls or emails as needed to confirm participation or address concerns.
Data Management: Accurately track and record partner responses and help get the next steps set up for posting into the group etc.
Qualifications:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable with phone outreach and relationship building.
Organized and detail-oriented.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Time Commitment: As you can but, we really need someone committed to making things happen on a regular daily basis.

The Content and Data Accuracy Specialist will ensure the accuracy of constantly changing data on the organization’s website and map, while also writing and editing web content. The role focuses on verifying information like service locations and resources, and ensuring the content aligns with the organization’s mission. This position does not involve web design or hosting.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Verification: Regularly check and update time sensitive location-based data and other critical information on the website and map.
Web Verification: Edit existing web content for clarity, accuracy, and alignment with the organization’s voice and mission.
Collaboration: Work with internal teams to ensure data accuracy and content consistency.
Monitoring: Track and report on the accuracy of the website and map data.
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and writing/editing skills.
Ability to work with dynamic, frequently changing data.
Familiarity with Excel and Google Spreadsheets is a plus
